...with shouts of "grace, grace!"

New Creation...I am accepted.

The Peace of Knowing

(with personal notes)

Ethnic association is gone in the "everythingness" of Christ in me. My flesh is irrelevant to my destiny. Let's not cloud the conversation with the flesh; let's cloud it with the "everythingness" of Christ, appealing to the hidden person of the heart, the beauty of the new me.

There is an inward and outward person (Romans 2:28). My newness within is my safe place. I will not let trouble follow me into my secret place. In my newness I commune with God.

"Peace leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27

"...nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know Whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day." 2 Tim. 1:12

1. I am loved.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: "For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter." Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels non principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Rom. 8:35-39

Vs. No more guilt = feeling bad.
Saying goodbye to feeling bad. (Matthew 11:28-29). We live guilt free because the love of God is our defense.

2. I am accepted.
just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
Eph. 1:4-6

Vs. No more regrets = feel sorry.
(2 Corinthians 7:10ff) The cross cleared me of regret even in repentance.

3. I am justified.
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
2 Cor. 5:21

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Rom. 5:1

Vs. No more pride =
I don't have anything that grace didn't give me. I have nothingto contribute to make me puff up and make me superior. I am superior in Christ already, and I don't add anything to it in my flesh. I have and was given everything when I got justified. I have everything I need in His justification by the cross.

4. I am blessed.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
Eph. 1:3

Vs. No more jealousy = feeling robbed.
I don't covet; I am blessed. I am not an idol worshipper. I don't have visions of carnal grandeur. I am not high-minded. I already have everything in Christ, and so do you.

5. I am helped.
Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need
Heb. 4:14-16

Vs. No more danger = feeling afraid.
I am helped so what am I afraid of then? I have all the help I need! Why worry and feel afraid? Now I just have to work the help out.

6. I am strong.
And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly l wi rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
2 Cor. 12:9,10

Vs. No more anger = feeling violated and weak.
I am not a victim; I am not violated. (1 Corinthians 3:3) Don't give in to the flesh. Who I am and what I have in Christ can't be violated.

7. I am defended.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
Rom, 8:31-34

Vs. No more offense = feeling hurt
"If God is for us" and I don't look to God, I will feel offended. I can't be a reconciler and a peace-maker if I don't act on my defense. I don't have a war going! Jesus is my defense. I am in a state of rejuvenation.

8. I am triumphant.
Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place
2 Cor. 2:14.

Vs. No more a victim = feeling abused
(Romans 8:28). I was treated right by God, even if you not by you.

9a "We should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, 10 who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us..." (2 Corinthains 1:9a-10)

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Rom. 8:28

9. I am quickened.
And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,
Eph. 2:1

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you
Rom. 8:11

Vs. No more negative = feelings of no and unbelief
How can I have a quickened spirit and feelings of unbelief or feelings of no?

Conclusion
I have parameters! These confessions are my parameters, and I am not going to think beyond what is written. I know better! And i choose to be fortified in them.
